The application packet, which includes an application form, school fact sheet, and fee-statement, should be obtained from the office. Proof of birth must accompany a completed application form. Parents are encouraged to tour the school. An interview with the Principal is encouraged as part of the admission process. The Office staff is available to answer questions concerning fees and methods of payment.

Admission criteria

All applications are considered individually, taking into consideration the following factors:

• Placement in present school
• Languages spoken
• Final goals of the applicant
• Level of maturity and age

Students entering Pre-School and Nursery are tested for English proficiency, aptitude and maturity. To be eligible for testing, students entering Pre-School must be age three on or before March 1of the current year, students entering Nursery must be age four on or before March1 of the current year, The Admissions Committee determines final admission and placement.

Students entering Grades 1-5 are tested for grade placement and aptitude. The Admissions Committee determines final admission and grade placement.

Age Requirements

A student should complete the age indicated below against the class, preferably by the commencement of the academic year. These are not mandatory requirements as children are sorted based on academic ability, however serve as useful guide for general development/

Required documents

In order to enable us to process an application and for the Principals to make the applicant’s assessment please include the following:

• Recent passport size photo.
• Proof of date of birth (photocopy) for applicant.
• Copies of the end of year school reports for the last year.
• Copy of the current year school reports (if applicable).

General Terms:

• Parents / Guardians concerned shall be informed when a child is selected for admission.
• For a child who has been to school previously and is attending this school for the first time, a Transfer Certificate from the previous School must be furnished before joining School. Since no change can be made in the age once it is entered in the Admission Register, a certified copy of the Birth Certificate is also to be submitted in each case.

• The date of birth once entered in the Admission Register will NOT be altered under any circumstances. On withdrawal, a Transfer Certificate will be issued if due notice has been given and all fees have been paid according to the school rules.
• The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any application for admission without assigning any reason.
• Recommendations for admission from any source will disqualify a prospective candidate. Parents are, therefore, advised to approach the Principal’s Office personally for admission and not through any other person or persons.
